Belfast International Airport is one of two in Northern Ireland’s Capital. The other being Belfast City, George Best Airport.
BFS sits 18 miles outside of the city, so you’ll need to catch public transport or drive into the main city if you’re destined for the centre of Belfast. The airport is in Aldergrove, North West, and dates back to 1917.
The easily accessible site makes it ideal for all modes of travel; from 1000s of car parking spaces to bus stations close by, anyone can reach the terminal doors with ease.

The Belfast International Airport jobs fair will be held this month offering over 125 new roles. Eight companies boasting 125+ jobs will be showcasing the positions at the Valley Leisure Centre on Thursday February 22, between 4pm and 7pm.
Around 80 of the roles are split evenly between aircraft ground handling company, Swissport and international security firm, ICTS. Retail, food, currency and drink outlets makes up the rest of the roles.Read more
Belfast International Airport Staff are celebrating the news that passenger numbers have hit a new record high, just as 2017 draws to a close.
The Scottish airport has already broken existing records by exceeding 5,243,038, the number previously achieved back in 2007, and that figure is still expected to increase with 4 weeks left of the year.
As a mark of achievement, and also a chance to thank the passengers using the airport, Belfast International gave away 2 free flight tickets to their 5,243,039th passenger Glenda Garrett as she checked in for her recent flight!
EasyJet have revealed that they intend to expand their Northern Ireland base at Belfast International Airport.
The plan reveals how easyJet will operate more than 32 flights per day between Belfast and London. The addition of these new flights means that 6000 extra seats will be available for winter routes in the future.
The airline will be introducing a new A320 aircraft in June 2018 which will be added to their fleet in order to provide these extra seats, and will remain based in Belfast throughout the year.Read more
Belfast Airport have recently announced that they have seen 24 months of consecutive double-digit passenger growth, thanks to the core success of the airlines that operate from the airport.
565,862 passengers passed through the doors of the airport in July, which is a 14.5% improvement of the same month in 2016.
If that wasn't enough, more than 501,000 passengers were recorded to have flown through the airport in the first 6 months of 2017 alone!Read more
